I'm always looking for new creative tools that expand the way I think and make. Recently, I started experimenting with Nomad Sculpt on the iPad as a way to explore digital sculpting and develop a more hands-on approach to creating 3D objects. It feels like playing with clay.

This series documents my first explorations with the software: a bust inspired by Mayan sculpture following a recent trip to Mexico, a Gremlin character study and a stylised moon portrait. Rather than relying on pre-made assets, each piece was sculpted from scratch, starting with simple primitive shapes before gradually refining forms, adding details and applying textures.

Once the sculptures were complete, I exported them as OBJ files and developed the final visual language in Adobe Dimension through lighting, materials and composition. The final images and layouts were then refined in Photoshop to create the finished artwork.

For the animated versions, I used AI (Midjourney) as a production tool to transform my own static renderings into short motion pieces. The creative direction, sculpting, modelling, composition and final imagery were entirely created by me, while AI helped accelerate the animation process and allowed me to explore movement without a traditional 3D animation workflow.

I enjoy learning new tools and experimenting with different creative processes. Whether it's traditional design software, 3D sculpting or AI-assisted workflows, I'm interested in understanding what each tool does best and combining them to create engaging visual experiences.
